Elizabeth Gillies
Gillies started her career in the field of acting when she was just 12 years old at which point she started attending open castings held in local theaters. Gillies soon began to appear in commercials for firms like Virgin Mobile. Gillies' first television role was in a role as a recurring character for three shows from The Black Donnellys. She said that her parents believed it was inappropriate for her to be watching the show's entire run. (citation needed) She played little roles in The Clique Harold as well as Locker 504 throughout 2008. The actress was cast in the summer of 2008 as Lucy as well as Ariana Grande, who was her co-star in Victorious and Jason Robert Brown's musical 13. The following year 13 was released on Broadway. Broadway version of 13 was out, and became the first Broadway show to feature an ensemble comprised entirely of teenagers. The show featured two huge performances "Opportunity" and "It It's Not True" in addition to smaller roles in other songs, like the "title song, "Hey Kendra" and "Getting Ready". Gillies continued to work with the program until it ended on the 4th of January, 2009
